And that's exactly what you're getting with our brand new 4 million-dollar imaging facility: The best.

Construction included renovation & remodeling of the existing structure, combined with new construction, equaling a total of 4,724 square feet of state-of-the-art imaging equipment.

The most anticipated feature is the MRI, which will be available for daily use Monday through Friday.

Equipment upgrades include the following:

●New CT scanner

●Bone density scanner

●Nuclear Medicine

●3D mammography

CEO Dan Kelly has this to say about the imaging project:

"This project really started over three years ago. We paid careful attention to patient feedback about what they liked and didn't like about how we were providing MRI services. While appreciative of the fact that the service was available, they wished it was more readily available so they didn't have to wait to get their imaging done.

Another thing that came through loud and clear was nobody likes that MRI truck. You had to go outside to get to it and it was very tight quarters, noisy, and claustrophobic.

When we designed our MRI room, we kept those things in mind. We deliberately oversized the room to avoid that cramped feeling. We added windows where we could provide natural light. We added cheerful Kansas artwork on the wall, and a beautiful decorative ceiling. We want people to find a sense of inner peace while they are having something done that can be kind of scary.

Some may wonder why we didn't choose an open MRI. Our rationale was simple. You simply can't get the same image quality on an open MRI that you can on a closed MRI.
